The last few days we've gotten some fresh snow, and we're supposed to get another 6" between Sunday and Monday. This afternoon we got a lovely snow shower with big fat flakes and so I grabbed the family and headed outside to play for a while. I even dragged the dogs out, as well as my daughters boyfriend, who was over for the day. You cant watch the snow fall and not go out and enjoy it!
As far as Bobby the Bull Moose...we've seen him here and there in the neighborhood but I havent been able to get any pictures. Thursday we had fresh tracks in the backyard and you could see where he bedded down, and then when I woke up I saw him way at the back of the yard in the woods. Friday my kids and I were coming back from a late afternoon trip to the store and he was in the neighbors driveway across the street, just munching away on trees. Tonight I watched the movie 50/50 with the family(it was a good movie, but having lost my dad to cancer 16 months ago I bawled like a baby...definitely not a movie I should have watched) and after the movie I went to take out the dogs. I really needed a pick me up after watching that movie and as I walk out the door who do I see laying down in the front yard but Bobby! I was so happy, he truly lifted my spirits just by being here again. I really hope he is still around when I get up in the morning.
Here are a few shots from our fun in the snow today:

Yes, this is what my daughter wore outside. Her and her boyfriend were being goobers. It was about 22*, so pretty warm. This is how the kids roll in Alaska....however I will say it didnt take them long to go in and put some proper clothes on!

That was definitely a tough movie, but especially with your recent loss. Hugs my friend. I'm glad your friend was outside to cheer you up though.
What a fun day frolicking in the snow! I really do miss that.
